Google Public Sector is seeking a Head of Technical Integration to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. This role combines technical expertise with program management to support the delivery of Technical Consulting engagements. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including GPS Program Delivery Managers, Go-to-Market teams, and Technical Delivery leads.
The role focuses on developing technical delivery strategy and defining programs that drive business impact. You'll work with diverse teams across application development, data, AI, infrastructure, and security to scope solutions and deliver against customer requirements. The position requires excellent communication skills, as you'll be interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
As part of Google Public Sector, you'll contribute to advancing digital transformation in government and education sectors. The role offers competitive compensation ($177,000-$263,000 + bonus + equity + benefits) and requires US citizenship due to potential access to classified information.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in technical program management and delivery work, with a strong background in public sector customer-facing roles. Experience with DoD or Federal government projects and active security clearance are highly valued. Responsibilities For Head of Technical Integration, Google Public Sector
- Lead Technical Delivery team in support of customer projects delivering results, increasing collaboration, and the ability to scale
- Lead the implementation of the PSO technical delivery strategy for customer projects and practice areas
- Coordinate between teams representing application development and modification, data, AI, infrastructure, and security
- Foster partnerships and collaboration across technical, program management, and go-to-market teams
- Act as a liaison between the organization and other stakeholders
Requirements For Head of Technical Integration, Google Public Sector
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in technical program management
- 8 years of experience in technical delivery work
- 8 years of experience managing a technical team within or interfacing in a public sector customer-facing role
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience working in program/project manager roles within DoD, Federal government, or consulting organization
- Active U.S. Government Secret or TS/SCI clearance preferred
