Responsibilities For Leadership Technical Program Manager, Google Distributed Cloud
- Own and drive programs cutting across multiple Google teams; lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects with priorities
- Be the trusted owner of project/program status, drive visibility on progress/dependencies/risks/issues to executives and stakeholders
- Manage communication of progress/status with customer groups; own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams
- Bring technical expertise, program management experience and leadership skills to help team improve and accelerate execution
- Build partnerships across Google and leverage credibility and technical acumen to drive process improvements
- Engage with product management and engineering leaders to streamline processes, simplify execution, and bring tooling efficiencies
Requirements For Leadership Technical Program Manager, Google Distributed Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience in Technical Program Management
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role with leading and managing reports
- 8 years of experience in managing cross-functional or team projects (preferred)
- 5 years of experience in supervising (preferred)
- Experience in working with organizations including Vice President level stakeholders and global projects
- Experience in working with Product Management and Engineers
- Excellent technical acumen with knowledge of software development
