Manufacture and Test Engineer, Rack Integration

Google's Manufacturing Operations team is seeking a Manufacture and Test Engineer to join their Rack Integration team. This role is crucial in supporting Google's massive computing infrastructure through manufacturing test development and quality assurance. The position combines hardware and software expertise, requiring strong skills in test automation, manufacturing processes, and debugging.

The role involves leading manufacturing test development for data center products, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Machine Learning systems. You'll be responsible for writing test plans, developing automated test software, and ensuring manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled. The position requires collaboration with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers to meet Google's infrastructure needs.

As a successful candidate, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience) and 8 years of manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of Python for test automation and embedded software is essential. Understanding of networking fundamentals (PCIe, Ethernet, TCP/IP) and experience with manufacturing test hardware are highly valued.
