Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Mid-Market Territory Manager to join their dynamic team in Dublin, Ireland. This role sits at the intersection of technology sales and business development, focusing on helping customers leverage Google Cloud's cutting-edge technology for their digital transformation journey.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 4 years of experience in technology sales or business development, who can effectively manage customer relationships and drive growth. You'll be responsible for defining target markets, nurturing customer relationships, and implementing customer acquisition strategies at scale.

As part of Google Cloud, you'll work with a platform that serves customers in more than 200 countries, delivering enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities For Mid-Market Territory Manager, Google Cloud Platform, UKI

  • Define and refine the target market using a blend of data-driven insights, market research, and internal tools
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with potential customers through direct outreach, networking, and leveraging partnerships with channel partners
  • Design and implement effective customer acquisition campaigns at scale, utilizing various channels to generate and qualify leads
  • Manage multiple opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals
  • Work closely with customer engineers, marketing, BDRs, and other teams to align strategies, share insights, and optimize the customer acquisition process

Requirements For Mid-Market Territory Manager, Google Cloud Platform, UKI

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in sales, client relationship, business development or account management
  • Technology sales experience focused on developing relationships with current business customers and growing their spend
  • Technical or sales experience in Cloud, Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems (preferred)
  • Experience selling solutions to help businesses transition from on premise to the cloud (preferred)
  • Experience collaborating/co-selling with channel partners in your market (preferred)
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, etc.) (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate credibly about platform and infrastructure-as-a-service (preferred)
