Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) division is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to join their Machine Learning and Digitization Operations team. This role combines software engineering with practical applications in digitization services, focusing on unlocking offline information through industrial-scale digitization processes. The position offers a competitive base salary range of $123,000-$176,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

The role involves designing and implementing tools for Digitization Services, supporting Google Book Search, Google Arts and Culture, YouTube, Google Cloud, and Google Hardware teams. You'll be working with custom-built equipment and software, maintaining infrastructure for book scanning operations, and developing internal tools to support operations.

As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you'll collaborate with a global team of support engineers, software developers, and operations staff. The position requires strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C++, along with experience in web technologies. You'll be responsible for analyzing work processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with hardware systems in laboratory settings and imaging equipment is a plus.
