Google is seeking a Physical Design CAD Engineer to join their Hardware Testing Engineering team, which is responsible for ensuring the reliability of Google's custom-designed machines that power one of the world's largest computing infrastructures. This role focuses on developing and maintaining ASIC RTL to GDS flow for high-performance, low-power designs.
The position combines hardware engineering expertise with Google's mission to organize world's information and make it universally accessible. As part of the team that combines Google AI, Software, and Hardware, you'll work on creating radically helpful experiences and advancing computing technology.
The ideal candidate will have experience in physical design CAD, particularly with latest technology process nodes (3nm and below), and power optimization techniques. You'll be working closely with other engineers to develop and support PDCAD flow for various processes including Synthesis, FV, VC LP & Extraction.
