Description For Power and Performance Validation Engineer, Hardware

Google is seeking a Power and Performance Validation Engineer to join their Hardware team, focusing on developing custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products. This role is crucial in ensuring Systems-on-Chip (SoCs) meet power, thermal, and performance goals through pre and post-silicon validation phases.

The position requires deep expertise in hardware validation, particularly in power and performance characterization of complex systems. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize SoC behavior and validate IP protection mechanisms. The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic thinking about system architecture and performance optimization.

As part of Google's Technical Infrastructure team, you'll contribute to the architecture that powers Google's vast product portfolio. The team takes pride in being "engineers' engineers," working on everything from data centers to next-generation Google platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly influence the performance and efficiency of Google's hardware products.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills in embedded systems, programming, and hardware validation, along with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. You'll be working in either Tel Aviv or Haifa, Israel, contributing to Google's hardware innovation while collaborating with global teams to push the boundaries of what's possible in silicon technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about hardware engineering who wants to make a significant impact on products used by millions of people worldwide. The role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art technology while solving complex technical challenges in a collaborative environment.
