Google is seeking a Product Manager II for their Pixel Generative AI team. This role involves working on the development and execution of new consumer personal AI products that showcase the best of Google AI and Pixel. The position is part of the Google Pixel team, which focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. This team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. The role involves bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users worldwide.
Key responsibilities include prototyping and defining new product opportunities, evolving the product idea for Pixel Screenshots with AI capabilities, working with various engineering teams to translate research breakthroughs into new products or features, leading the product development life-cycle, and gathering user feedback to ensure Pixel AI features address real consumer needs.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role, and 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. Experience in developing consumer software or hardware products and launching Generative AI products into production is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in developing consumer hardware products, mobile products, products using Large Language Models, and products with Responsible AI.
