Description For Program Manager, Environmental Health and Safety

Google Data Centers (GDC) is seeking a Program Manager for Environmental Health and Safety to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in managing the EHS program that ensures compliance and safety excellence in data center operations. The position offers a competitive salary range of $99,000-$145,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

As a Program Manager, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders across different offices, time zones, and hemispheres. You'll be responsible for planning requirements, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and maintaining clear communication with cross-functional partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 1 year of program management experience, along with expertise in Environmental, Health and Safety. Professional certifications like PMP or CSP are highly valued. You'll be working with Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which is responsible for maintaining and developing data centers and next-generation Google platforms.

Key responsibilities include maintaining PMO standards, developing and managing projects with executive support, tracking project progress, improving management processes, and providing training to project managers. You'll be part of a team that ensures Google's vast network infrastructure runs smoothly, providing users with the best possible experience.
