As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You are equally comfortable explaining your team's analysis and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
You will manage a diverse portfolio for Google Arts and Culture where you will work with artists, cultural institutions and technologists in multiple countries with a focus on applications of emerging technologies for Culture. You will be based in London and working globally. You will be required to liaise and coordinate with various Google teams and manage the full life cycle of projects.
Responsibilities: • Manage program activities and stakeholders in order to successfully deliver a cultural program for Google Arts and Culture that includes applications of emerging technologies for culture. • Ensure alignment of stakeholders, including internal Product Areas (PA), artists and cultural institutions. • Lead the project life-cycle and guide team on timelines, goals, and deliverables of projects and escalate obstacles in a timely manner. • Monitor and communicate progress and apply relevant best practices from Google processes and technologies to drive results. • Manage cross-team collaborations with Google Arts and Culture partners in diverse country markets.
