The role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders across offices, time zones, and hemispheres. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing project budgets and schedules, identifying risks, and communicating with project stakeholders. They will support decision-making analysis using objective data to align with Google's objectives. The position is part of the Technical Infrastructure team, which is crucial in developing and maintaining data centers and building the next generation of Google platforms. Responsibilities For Program Manager, Google Data Center
- Collaborate with Google Data Center (GDC) partner teams and Engineering groups to support the delivery and management of Google's Capital Expenditure program
- Ensure accurate and compliant Capital Expenditure accrual processes and SOX control management
- Deliver insightful cash flow analysis and maintain data integrity for strategic decision-making
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead strategic projects and manage stakeholders to achieve business and operational improvements
Requirements For Program Manager, Google Data Center
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in the construction of tech facilities with responsibility for project control scope
- 5 years of experience managing multinational and technical programs/projects
- 5 years of experience in project or program management
- Experience with P6, enterprise cost systems, earned value, progress measurement, productivity, and resource management
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvements
- Understanding of accountability and ownership for project lifecycle
