As a Program Manager for Google Mobile Maps (GMM) on Android, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience.
In this position, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The role requires you to be equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Key responsibilities include managing software programs, defining milestones and success criteria, allocating resources, and ensuring on-time delivery. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity, and communicate schedules, priorities, and status to stakeholders at various levels.
