Senior CPU Senior Design Verification Engineer, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior CPU Design Verification Engineer to join their Research and Development team. This role is crucial in developing custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products. The position involves building verification components, performing constrained-random testing, system testing, and verification closure.

As part of the server chip design team, you'll be responsible for verifying digital designs and collaborating closely with design and verification engineers. Your work will involve building efficient constrained-random verification environments that thoroughly test designs through their corner-cases to identify potential bugs. You'll manage the complete verification life-cycle, from planning to test execution and coverage closure.

This role is part of the ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google, which is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services and Google Cloud. The team prioritizes security, efficiency, and reliability while working towards shaping the future of hyperscale computing.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in digital logic verification at RTL level, strong knowledge of SystemVerilog or Specman/E, and familiarity with CPU implementation and assembly language.
