Responsibilities For Senior Data Scientist, Product, Search
- Partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to influence, prioritize, and support the image search product strategy
- Apply technical expertise with observational data analysis, modeling or causal inference to answer the most important product questions
- Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of product experiments or post-hoc causal inference analysis
- Define and develop key metrics to measure users' journeys and experiences in image search
- Deliver effective presentations of data-driven insights and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders
Requirements For Senior Data Scientist, Product, Search
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data science, Engineering, Physics, Economics or a related quantitative field
- 8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) or 5 years work experience and a Master's degree
- Experience analyzing user behaviors in consumer apps, and linking those behaviors to successful business outcomes
- Experience working with engineers and product managers especially around providing product-centric insights
- Experience in extracting large sets of data with SQL and in designing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) flows
- Experience in developing models (e.g., statistical and causal inference, classification methods)
