Description For Senior Manager, Construction Integration and Assembly

Google is seeking a Senior Manager for Construction Integration and Assembly to lead their technical infrastructure team's construction and pre-fabrication programs across North America. This role combines technical expertise with program management, focusing on data center construction and infrastructure development. The position offers a competitive base salary range of $168,000-$252,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing pre-fabrication construction programs and multi-disciplinary projects, with a strong background in technical program management. They will be responsible for developing and scaling pre-fabrication programs, managing work package development, and ensuring successful delivery of construction projects while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and budgets.

This role is part of Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which is fundamental to maintaining and developing the architecture that powers Google's extensive product portfolio. The team takes pride in being the "engineers' engineers" and focuses on building and maintaining data centers and next-generation Google platforms.

The position offers a hybrid work environment with multiple location options across the United States, including major tech hubs like Sunnyvale, CA and emerging tech centers like Council Bluffs, IA. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements For Senior Manager, Construction Integration and Assembly

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in program management
  • 8 years of experience managing pre-fabrication construction programs
  • 8 years of experience managing multi-group/disciplinary construction projects
  • 5 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports
