Senior ML Systems Engineer, AICore

Google is seeking a Senior ML Systems Engineer to join their AICore team, focusing on bringing Gemini to the Android ecosystem and shaping the future of mobile AI. This role combines advanced machine learning with systems engineering to develop privacy-preserving, on-device ML systems that will enhance mobile interactions for billions of users. The position requires expertise in model optimization, particularly for Neural Processing Units (NPUs), and the ability to develop next-generation algorithms for on-device Generative AI.

The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of machine learning and mobile systems, collaborating with CoreML experts and Android partners to optimize and compress Gemini models using techniques like quantization and sparsity. They will be responsible for developing and enhancing model fine-tuning pipelines while ensuring exceptional performance and reliability.
