Senior Software Developer, Google Kubernetes Engine, Anthos Networking

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) team, focusing on Anthos Networking. This role is crucial for developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users' connectivity and interactions. The position is based in Warsaw, Poland, and is part of the DPv2 team, which is expanding to enable new features, scaling, and migration of legacy solutions.

The role combines deep technical expertise in networking, distributed systems, and container technologies with the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure used by customers worldwide. You'll be working on essential business areas including GKE 1N - Advanced Load Balancing, GKE Networking Infrastructure for AI/ML, GKE L4 Services, DNS, Multi-Cluster Service, GKE IPv6, and dataplane scalability.

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing networking features for Kubernetes and GKE, developing network virtualization solutions for containers, and engaging with the open-source community. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to help customers resolve production cluster issues.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with software development, data structures/algorithms, and software design. Knowledge of networking solutions, Linux networking stack, and distributed systems is highly valued.
