Senior Software Engineer, Data Governance AI Agent

Google Cloud's Dataplex team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of AI agents for data governance on GCP. This role focuses on revolutionizing data governance experiences through innovative AI solutions, working within the Data Lineage team. The position involves building APIs and UIs to visualize data transformations across GCP and other platforms, which is crucial for debugging data pipelines and ensuring compliance.

The ideal candidate will take full ownership of AI agent development, leading the technical direction while collaborating with product and UX teams. You'll be working on full-stack solutions to improve data discovery, quality management, and incident handling. The role is central to helping users better understand and manage their data and processing jobs.
