Senior Software Engineer, Information Security Engineering

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Information Security Engineering organization. This role is part of the Core team that builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. The position focuses on security research and mitigations, particularly addressing threats at the intersection of Security and Reliability to prevent multi-region critical disruption to Alphabet infrastructure and services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing secure operational practices, conducting security assessments, and providing guidance to engineering teams.
