Silicon System Security Architect

Google is seeking a Silicon System Security Architect to join their hardware team developing custom silicon solutions for direct-to-consumer products. This role combines advanced security architecture with Google's mission to organize and make information universally accessible.

The position requires deep expertise in hardware security, cryptography, and system architecture. You'll be responsible for defining SOC security architecture, working with next-generation security technologies, and implementing cryptographic protocols including post-quantum cryptography. The role involves collaboration across multiple teams including SoC Architecture, Software, Certification, and Device Manufacturing.

This is an advanced technical position requiring significant experience in applied cryptography, PKI management, and secure manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hardware/software threat analysis and experience with certification accreditation bodies. Knowledge of countermeasures against various attacks, secure boot mechanisms, and security evaluation processes is highly valued.

The role offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $183,000-$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
