Software Engineer, GCE Fleet Data Services

Google is seeking a Software Engineer for their GCE Fleet Data Services team, which was established in 2020 to build a source of truth fleet data platform. This role is part of the ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization, which is responsible for Google's hardware, software, and infrastructure across all services. The position focuses on expanding data platform capabilities to include non-Cloud usage, GPU/TPU, and other technologies.

The role offers an opportunity to directly impact Google's core business priorities while gaining expertise in "SuperComputing as a service" - particularly valuable in today's AI-driven environment. The team's platform serves over 20 teams and powers critical Cloud infrastructure and AI/ML infrastructure.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data collection pipelines, building SLO-guaranteed services, and collaborating across Cloud teams. The position requires strong expertise in software development, data structures, and algorithms, with preferred experience in Spanner and object-oriented programming.

The role offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $197,000-$291,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
