Software Engineer, Google Maps User Generated Content

Google is seeking a full-stack engineer to join their Geo Question Answering (QAP) team, focusing on Google Maps and related products. The role involves working on critical projects that serve over a billion monthly users through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, and Google Maps Platform. As part of the Geo team, you'll contribute to building the most accurate and comprehensive mapping solutions while solving complex computer science problems.

The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, developing new features, and maintaining the Question Answering Platform and User Generated Content surfaces. You'll be expected to design and implement solutions for ambiguous problems, conduct code reviews, and stay current with full-stack development trends.
