Software Engineer III, Intelligent Systems, Core

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Intelligent Systems Core team, focusing on developing solutions to protect Google's products and users from threats like fraud, harmful content, and disinformation. The role involves working on critical projects within Google's Core team, which builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products.

As part of the Core team, you'll be responsible for building central solutions, breaking down technical barriers, and strengthening existing systems. The position offers unique opportunities to impact important technical decisions across the company. The Intelligence Systems team specifically works on anticipating and discovering novel threats that exploit gaps in product features and policies.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in software development, particularly with backend languages like GoLang, Rust, or Java, and ML model coding languages like Python. You'll be working on large-scale systems, requiring expertise in data structures, algorithms, and system design. The role involves collaboration with peers and stakeholders, code reviews, documentation, and system troubleshooting.

This position is based in Mexico City and requires Mexican citizenship in compliance with Article 7 of the Federal Labor Law.
