The ideal candidate will contribute to making OpenXLA the best platform for ML acceleration innovation and ensure it's accessible for hardware vendors and compiler researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write product or system development code
- Participate in design reviews and choose among available technologies
- Review code from other developers and provide feedback
- Contribute to documentation and educational content
- Triage and debug product or system issues
- Learn and contribute to StableHLO and XLA
- Engage with stakeholders integrating with OpenXLA
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of software development experience (or 1 year with an advanced degree)
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
- 2 years of experience with ML algorithms and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with performance, large-scale systems, data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging
- Experience with accessible technologies, compiler development, and open source
- Understanding of code and system health, diagnosis, and resolution
