Description For Software Engineer, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Raxium

Google's Raxium display group is seeking a Software Engineer to join their revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology team. This role combines full-stack development with semiconductor manufacturing expertise, focusing on developing and maintaining critical Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge display technology that enables new functionality in AR and light-field display applications.

The role requires expertise in both software development and semiconductor manufacturing processes, with responsibilities spanning from UI development to database management. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, contributing to technology that aims to disrupt next-generation display markets.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing custom software applications used in the semiconductor FAB. The role involves creating user-friendly interfaces, implementing business logic, and working with SQL databases. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and need to manage multiple overlapping projects independently.

The position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $141,000-$202,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about combining software engineering with semiconductor manufacturing, working at the forefront of display technology innovation. The role requires on-site presence five days a week, reflecting the hands-on nature of the work in the semiconductor facility.
