Software Engineer, Silicon Engineering Chief of Staff Office

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the technical initiatives within their Silicon Engineering Chief of Staff Office. Located in either Mountain View or San Diego, California, this role requires 5+ years of software development experience and deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and backend systems.

As the technical lead for the Chief of Staff team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing critical systems that manage EDA licensing and other cost areas. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and requires expertise in multiple areas including database design, data infrastructure, pipeline development, and system architecture.

The ideal candidate will have experience with modern development practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and API development. Knowledge of web application design principles and frameworks like React, Angular, Django, and Flask is highly valued. Understanding of EDA licensing, tooling, and CAD infrastructure would be particularly beneficial.
