Software Engineering Intern, Google Public Sector, Summer 2025

This internship is intended for students in their penultimate academic year, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Interns will be part of Google Public Sector, which focuses on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and supporting a productive and innovative team
• Developing scripts to automate routine tasks
• Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solutions
• Applying knowledge gained in computer science courses to real-world problems

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or post-secondary training in software development or related fields
• Experience in software development and coding in two or more general-purpose programming languages
• Experience with data structures or algorithms

Preferred qualifications include experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed systems, machine learning, and more.

The internship offers a competitive salary range of $90,000-$118,000 for full-time positions, with additional benefits. Applicants must be US citizens and located in the United States for the duration of the internship. English proficiency is required.
