Staff Cloud Solutions Architect, Rapid Innovation

Google Public Sector is seeking a Staff Cloud Solutions Architect to join their Rapid Innovation team. This role combines technical expertise in cloud architecture with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring both deep technical knowledge and strong communication skills.

The position involves partnering as a full stack software developer with customers and Google Cloud Platform teams to develop prototypes and demonstrate platform capabilities. You'll be responsible for translating experiments into scalable, market-ready solutions for the Google Public Sector Go-To-Market team. The role requires facilitating cross-functional collaboration through workshops to gather requirements and build roadmaps for GCP platform adoption.

Key technical aspects include experience with Python/JavaScript development, machine learning solutions, and cloud enterprise architecture. The role demands a blend of hands-on development skills and high-level architectural thinking, with a focus on designing solutions that integrate and utilize Generative AI tools.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $177,000 to $263,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. This is a hybrid role with multiple location options across major US tech hubs including Reston, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, and others, with remote work possibilities in select states.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in cloud solutions, a strong technical background (preferably with a Bachelor's in Computer Science), and proven experience in customer-facing roles. The role requires US citizenship due to potential access to classified information.
