Responsibilities For Staff Network Implementation Engineer, Design
- Direct and prioritize resources while maintaining quality and adherence to network standards
- Collaborate as a subject matter expert to ensure adoption of network infrastructure standards
- Deliver network capacity for Google via generation of bill of materials, Deployment Packages, device management, vendor management, and standard workflow based activation
- Triage of network issues, identification of root cause, generation of Maintenance Operation Procedure, and orchestration for network repair
Requirements For Staff Network Implementation Engineer, Design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services
- 8 years of experience in telecommunications, OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, and relay rack/cabinet/cage construction
- 8 years of experience directing field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors
- 8 years of experience reading/writing or scripting code
- Experience with analytical coding and frameworks
- Experience defining system or process requirements, building, integrating, or delivering network systems
