Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization, focusing on Platforms Infrastructure Engineering for Google SoC. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development in embedded systems and SoC platforms. The position requires deep expertise in firmware development, system architecture, and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges.

The successful candidate will work within Google's infrastructure team that designs, implements, and manages hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services and Google Cloud. This role is critical in developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users, with a focus on security, efficiency, and reliability in hyperscale computing environments.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical guidance, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring high-quality firmware delivery.   • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
  • Deep understanding of SoC architecture and hardware/software interactions
