Google is seeking a Systems Security Architect to join their Silicon team, working at the intersection of hardware and software security. This role is crucial in designing and implementing security features for Google's next-generation devices and services, protecting users and data at scale within complex ecosystems.

The position requires a strong background in systems engineering and security, with expertise in low-level software development using languages like C++/Rust. The ideal candidate will have experience with SoC architecture, embedded systems, and hardware security concepts including secure boot, TEEs, and roots of trust.

As part of Google's mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible, you'll be working with a team that combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences. The role involves designing secure, scalable hardware/software systems, performing security analysis and threat modeling, and collaborating across Hardware, Software, and Product teams.

The position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $132,000-$189,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Located in either Mountain View or San Diego, CA, you'll be part of a team that pushes boundaries in developing custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about security architecture who wants to impact millions of users worldwide through Google's hardware experiences. The role requires both technical depth in security engineering and the ability to work cross-functionally to implement complex security solutions.

Google is committed to diversity and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities regardless of background.
