Google's Quantum AI team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary quantum computing projects. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge quantum computing research and practical project management, focusing on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.

The position involves managing projects related to calibration and measurements within the Quantum AI team, requiring both technical expertise and strong program management skills. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Quantum AI, Calibrations

  • Support Quantum AI research teams focused on calibration and measurements by planning project requirements and roadmaps, managing project schedule, managing budget, demand forecasting, and vendor management to enable hardware and software development
  • Anticipate issues and propose solutions, manage dependencies and cross-functional interfaces, and identify the need to develop or improve tools or processes
  • Document and communicate work plans, timelines, and results to the broader team

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Quantum AI, Calibrations

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering fields (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
  • Experience working with superconducting qubits in a collaborative software environment (preferred)
  • Experience coding in Python (preferred)
