Technical Solutions Developer, Infrastructure and Kubernetes, Google Cloud

Google Cloud Platform team is seeking a Technical Solutions Developer for Infrastructure and Kubernetes. This role involves working with customers on their production Kubernetes/Anthos deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness, availability, and scale. You'll develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud's Kubernetes/Anthos product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues. As part of a global team providing 24/7 support, you may need to work non-standard hours or shifts, including weekends.

Key responsibilities include:

• Resolving customer issues and advocating for their needs with internal teams
• Acting as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders
• Troubleshooting complex workload issues across large-scale, multi-node environments
• Developing tools for faster diagnosis and improving Google Cloud

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of experience in customer-facing roles, troubleshooting Linux/Unix or Windows systems
• 4 years of experience reading code in general-purpose languages
• 4 years of experience with Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, or SAP

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience debugging complex workload issues in large-scale environments
• Experience in Computer Networking and working with public cloud services
• Understanding of basic web technologies
