Test Infrastructure Development Engineer

Google's Manufacturing Operations team is seeking a Test Infrastructure Development Engineer to help build and maintain their state-of-the-art physical infrastructure. This role combines software development with hardware and networking expertise, focusing on creating processes, tools, and procedures for Google's manufacturing capabilities.

The position requires strong programming skills in object-oriented languages, particularly Python, along with extensive experience in server and network switch deployment. You'll work at the intersection of software and hardware, collaborating with various teams to ensure Google's infrastructure components work seamlessly together.

As part of the Technical Infrastructure team, you'll contribute to developing and maintaining Google's data centers and platforms. The role involves writing code, specifying hardware requirements, and working with contract manufacturers' IT teams to integrate solutions into their networks. You'll be responsible for driving process optimization, qualification activities, and implementing manufacturing processes for various components and products.
