Description For Workspace Cloud Architect

Google Cloud is seeking a Workspace Cloud Architect to play a crucial role in helping customers transition to Google Workspace (GWS) Platform. This position combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring both deep technical knowledge and strong consulting skills.

As a Workspace Cloud Architect, you'll work directly with Google's customers on critical migration projects, providing management, consulting, and technical advisory services. You'll collaborate with client executives and technical leaders to ensure successful implementation of Google Workspace solutions. The role involves advocating for and guiding customers through their Workspace journey, while also contributing to product improvement based on customer and market needs.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation with at least 3 years of experience in deploying workspace technologies and programming languages like Java and Python. You'll need to demonstrate expertise in enterprise productivity and collaboration solutions, creating best practices, tutorials, and technical presentations for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities For Workspace Cloud Architect

  • Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and Google to manage and deliver successful migration to GWS
  • Advocate and guide customers/partners as part of Workspace journey
  • Improve on GWS product features based on the customer and market needs
  • Provide domain expertise in enterprise productivity and collaboration solutions
  • Educate and align with various Google stakeholders on the go-to-market Workspace solution strategy/offerings

Requirements For Workspace Cloud Architect

Java
Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in deploying workspace or similar technologies for customers
  • 3 years of experience in one or more languages such as App Script, Java, Python, Terraform, or similar
  • Experience in client-facing projects/troubleshooting with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in deploying or managing Cloud productivity solutions at enterprise level
