Senior Software Engineer, Grafana Frontend (Canada EST)

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Frontend Platform Squad. This remote position is based in the Canadian Eastern time zones. The Frontend Platform Squad's vision is to provide the best journeys for all users, focusing on building tools for search and navigation through the Grafana experience.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing, building, operating, and maintaining critical systems
2. Delivering new features and iterating based on results
3. Driving projects from initial ideation to operations
4. Influencing the roadmap and personal career objectives
5. Mentoring and supporting team members
6. Participating in product discussions and collaborating with the team

The ideal candidate should have:

1. Solid experience with building full stack applications (ideally using Go & React)
2. Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture
3. Experience in delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping
4. Experience with Cloud development or systems engineering
5. Comfort working in a remote-first company
6. Ability to transform ideas into working code
7. Enjoyment in working on complex solutions
8. Care for user experience and product quality

Grafana Labs offers a competitive compensation package, including equity and bonus opportunities. The base compensation range for this role in Canada is CAD 146,409 - CAD 175,691, with actual compensation varying based on level, experience, and skillset.
