Description For Graduate Applications Developer

Grayce is seeking a Graduate Applications Developer to join their Accelerated Development Programme, working with a global specialist insurance firm. This entry-level position focuses on Pega, a low-code application development platform, requiring no prior coding experience. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop enterprise applications using workflow automation and AI-decisioning tools.

The position is part of a structured two-year development program where graduates will work directly with a prestigious global insurance client while gaining industry-accredited qualifications. The role combines hands-on experience in application development with comprehensive training and mentoring support.

As a Grayce Analyst, you'll be part of the Product Engineering team, working in an agile environment alongside Project Managers, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Product Owners. The role involves gathering requirements, creating user stories, and developing workflows for various business lines including Underwriting, London Market, and Trade Credit.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a STEM degree. While coding experience isn't required, an understanding of coding languages is beneficial. The position offers a clear path to permanent employment with the end-client following the completion of the Grayce Programme.

Benefits include a competitive starting salary of £25,000, comprehensive training, mentoring support, and wellness programs. The role requires minimum three days per week on-site presence in Bridgend, with relocation support available for candidates outside the commuting area.
