They are seeking a Senior Wireless Engineer to join their mission of enhancing grid reliability and safety. This role combines RF architecture, wireless communication systems, and product design, requiring a deep understanding of electromagnetic theory and practical implementation.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that directly impacts grid infrastructure safety and efficiency. As a Senior Wireless Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing wireless communication systems for very low power applications, working with various wireless technologies including cellular, GPS, WiFi, and NFC.

The role requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience and a BSEE degree. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, including wireless and software architects, industrial designers, and product designers, to optimize RF functionality in products. The position offers hands-on experience with electromagnetic and system simulation, prototyping, and testing.

Responsibilities For Senior Wireless Engineer

  • Apply expertise in all aspects of product design from concept to final production
  • Work with wireless and software architects, industrial designers, and product designers
  • Guide and sculpt product design with focus on optimizing RF functionality
  • Perform electromagnetic and system simulation
  • Conduct hands-on prototyping, test and measurement

Requirements For Senior Wireless Engineer

  • BSEE with 10+ years experience
  • Experience in bring-up and production of state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication system algorithms
  • Experience in designing and simulating wireless communication systems for very low power applications
  • Experience in implementing system models for wireless communication system and RF/circuits impairments
  • Experience in integration of wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wifi, and NFC into products
  • Experience with terrestrial and satellite communications
  • Strong collaborator with ability to build strong relationships
