Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows
- Build and maintain scalable data systems for storing and retrieving large volumes of data
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, to identify data requirements and develop solutions
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Proficient in SQL and Python. Experience with other programming languages is a plus
- Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
- Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
