Principal Engineer, Cloud Native Technology Solutions

GSK is seeking a Principal Engineer, Cloud Native Technology Solutions to join their Market Access Engineering team. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the technical architecture of a global biopharma leader. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership, requiring expertise in cloud technologies, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture.

The ideal candidate will drive the technical vision for Market Access products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with GSK's broader technology strategy. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/GCP), containerization, event-driven architectures, and modern development practices.

Key technical areas include cloud-native development, Kubernetes, Python programming, event streaming platforms like Kafka, and API development. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with 2 days per week onsite in either Durham, NC or Philadelphia, PA.
