Principal Engineer

Haleon, a world-leading consumer healthcare company, is seeking a Principal Engineer to join their technical team. This role represents the highest level of Individual Contributor within the organization, focusing on the MERN tech stack to build scalable, high-performance web applications. The position involves working closely with the Web Platform team, which manages over 700 global Haleon websites and is actively modernizing their technology stack.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with approximately 10 years of experience, capable of leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers. They will play a crucial role in championing best practices in software engineering, including micro-services architecture, API-First approach, and cloud-native solutions. The position requires expertise in modern web technologies, including Remix.js, Contentful, Figma, and Storybook.

Key responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of complex technical solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring the team maintains high engineering standards.
