Responsibilities For Embedded Systems Engineer - Inertial Sensors

  • Work with scientists and engineers to develop state of the art subsystems for position, navigation and timing (PNT) applications
  • Design, fabricate, integrate and test MEMS sensor components and subsystems
  • Deploy custom-built embedded solutions in environmental tests and field demonstrations
  • Interface with vendors to establish supply chain partners
  • Design and execute environmental and field tests on devices
  • Develop emulations and simulations of hardware devices

Requirements For Embedded Systems Engineer - Inertial Sensors

Python
  • Proficiency in Python and C/C++
  • Experience building drivers for custom hardware and scientific instruments
  • Understanding of PCB design, assembly, and PCB layout software
  • Ability to write test and control software for complex systems
  • Experience with rapid prototyping using evaluation platforms
  • Familiarity with low-noise analog and digital test equipment
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance
  • BS + 5 years experience, MS + 3 years experience, or doctoral degree
