Frontend Engineer

Ideogram is a generative AI startup looking for a dedicated Frontend Engineer to join the team. Our mission is to help people become more creative. We are developing state-of-the-art AI tools that will make creative expression more accessible and efficient. We are pushing the limits of what's possible with AI, with a focus on creativity and a high standard for trust and safety.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will develop a sleek and engaging user interface in a large-scale consumer web environment. You will play an important role in each step of the product development process, from conceptualization to implementation to release; from rapidly prototyping, running A/B tests, to architecting and building solutions that can scale to support millions of users.

Key responsibilities:

• Your ideas will help shape the direction of our product(s)
• You will build out consumer-facing features to power the future of inspiration to the planet
• You will learn about new technologies and discuss solutions to problems
• You will own end-to-end feature development
• You will write clean, testable, peer-reviewed code

We're looking for candidates with:

• 5+ years developing innovative and delightful consumer experiences at scale in HTML, CSS, JS, React, Angular, NodeJS, Flask, etc
• Background and experience with modern design processes and tools like Figma
• Experience building user-friendly experiences based on design and product requirements
• Knowledge of core CS fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter ability to come up to speed on complex, difficult concepts with minimal assistance
• Proven track record of communicating complex technical issues across teams
• Curiosity and excitement about generative AI technology and its impact on the creative economy
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
