Description For Intelligent Automation Developer

This Senior Intelligent Automation Developer role is part of the GIS Data and AI team, focusing on developing and supporting intelligent automation solutions using UIPath.

The position combines software development with automation expertise, requiring someone who can design, implement, and maintain complex automation solutions. You'll be working in an agile environment, participating in all aspects of the development lifecycle from sprint planning to deployment. The role involves significant work with AI and automation technologies, including experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.

As a senior developer, you'll be responsible for both technical implementation and providing guidance to end users, managing application updates, and ensuring best practices are followed. The position requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities For Intelligent Automation Developer

  • Design, implement, and test automation solutions in support of business needs
  • Deliver software architecture, designs, and implementations
  • Participate in agile development process and sprint activities
  • Create and execute unit tests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
  • Contribute to software design reviews and code reviews
  • Manage and support internal ticket escalations
  • Debug and resolve complex application issues
  • Manage application functionality updates, integrations, configurations, releases and security settings
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for best practices

Requirements For Intelligent Automation Developer

Python
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience with technical and functional application support
  • Experience with UIPath and Microsoft Power Apps
  • Experience with AI/Gen AI applications (LLMs, Prompt Engineering) preferred
  • Strong technical experience in application administration
  • Experience in fast-paced, global, corporate environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • API and scripting experience
  • Change control experience in FDA regulated environment
