Job Description

Immersive Labs, founded in 2017, has grown from a cargo container in Bristol to a global company with over 300 employees and £150 million in funding. As the leader in people-centric cyber resilience, we're seeking a Junior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Product team through the Cyber Million programme.

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to start your career in cybersecurity. You'll be creating content for labs focusing on IT/Computing and Defensive Cyber, with mentoring support from experienced cyber engineers. The role involves translating complex technical concepts into accessible content, collaborating on exercises, and supporting various security events.

The ideal candidate must complete the Defensive Security Operations career path in Cyber Million, demonstrating knowledge of core concepts like Incident Response, digital forensics, and vulnerability management. Strong English writing skills and the ability to simplify technical content are essential.

  • Support events such as Capture the Flag & Crisis Exercising
  • Produce multi-format content using various teaching methods

  • Complete the Defensive Security Operations career path in Cyber Million
  • Clear, accurate and articulate English writing skills
  • Desire to learn and develop skills
