Responsibilities For Staff Software Engineer

  • Architect and lead the development of secure, reliable, and scalable backend systems
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple teams and projects
  • Establish and champion coding standards, architectural principles, and technical direction
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with business goals
  • Drive continuous optimization of system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Own complex, high-impact projects and initiatives end-to-end
  • Drive the evolution of developer experience through advanced tooling
  • Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and technical guidance
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap and identify opportunities for innovation

Requirements For Staff Software Engineer

Go
  • Exceptional proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or similar languages
  • Extensive experience architecting complex distributed systems
  • Proven track record designing and delivering mission-critical systems at massive scale
  • Advanced knowledge of sophisticated data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization
  • Deep expertise with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Advanced CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Exceptional proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and complex problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience driving technical decision-making and mentoring senior engineers
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
