Responsibilities For Data Science Engineer Intern for an Australian LegalTech Company
- Structure data into graph databases like Neo4j and optimize relational, vector, and data lake systems
- Implement NLP tasks including text preprocessing, sentiment analysis, and working with transformer-based models
- Process large volumes of unstructured data (text files, PDFs, Excel) for analysis
- Develop efficient tools and scripts primarily in Python
- Implement scalable solutions using AWS services
- Use Jira and Confluence for task tracking and knowledge sharing
