Design Engineer (San Francisco)

Infisical is looking to hire exceptional talent to join our teams in building the open source security infrastructure stack for the AI era. We're building a generational company with a world-class engineering team that brings experience from companies like Figma, AWS, and Sentry.

As the first Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Infisical's future by owning and elevating the user-facing experience of our rapidly growing platform. Infisical is a deeply technical product with user and developer experience at its core, focusing on secrets management, internal PKI, key management, and SSH workflow orchestration.

You'll work directly with co-founders and the engineering team to translate complex infrastructure and security workflows into intuitive user experiences. Your responsibilities include developing scalable UI components, ensuring frontend performance, and leading architecture for new product lines like Infisical PKI, SSH, and KMS.

The role offers significant growth potential as you'll take full ownership of design engineering at Infisical, becoming a defining piece of the team as we scale to thousands of customers. We've already raised $3M from Y Combinator and Gradient Ventures (Google's VC fund), with customers including Hugging Face, Lucid, and LG.

We operate primarily as a remote team but maintain a strong presence in San Francisco, where we have an office. The company culture emphasizes fast growth, ownership, and solving tough problems.
