Responsibilities For Software Development Lead Engineer in Test (SDET)
- Review requirements and design of system to be implemented
- Design and review test cases and test scripts
- Define test case execution priority and impact analysis
- Implement and work with test management, defect management, performance, and automation tools
- Log issues and track until closure
- Communicate with project manager regarding project issues
- Work within an agile, self-organizing Scrum team
- Ownership of testing and quality for the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify quality benchmarks and KPIs
- Create and execute Test plans
- Write unit tests for testing API and business layer
- Enhance testability of the code
- Implement test support features
- Document API endpoints
- Participate in code reviews
Requirements For Software Development Lead Engineer in Test (SDET)
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software testing
- Experience in OOP and programming languages: C#, Java, JS, SQL
- Experience with Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Nunit
- Experience with UI, System/Integration, API, Performance, and Agile testing
- Knowledge in test planning and test strategy design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in English
- Database manipulation skills in SQL
- Knowledge of Agile development Methodology
- Knowledge about Cloud, ETL and DevOps Concepts
- Experience with BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Advanced programming understanding
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Understanding of design patterns and architecture patterns
- Solid understanding of data structures
