Description For AI Research and Development Engineer

Intel is seeking a senior AI Rendering Research and Development engineer to join their XeSS Research and Development team. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and 3D graphics rendering, focusing on revolutionizing real-time 3D rendering through AI algorithms and neural rendering techniques. The position offers an opportunity to work with world-class AI and Graphics engineers while developing cutting-edge deep learning solutions for 3D gaming.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in both AI and 3D graphics, with demonstrated experience in neural rendering techniques and a track record of successful AI software project delivery. You'll be responsible for developing and optimizing AI-based rendering software libraries, creating SDKs, and implementing algorithms that enhance gaming performance and quality.

Working within Intel's Client Computing Group (CCG), you'll be part of the largest business unit at Intel, responsible for driving PC innovation and product development across various form factors. This fully remote position based in Germany offers the flexibility of home-based work while contributing to Intel's mission of delivering purposeful computing experiences.

The role combines technical depth in machine learning, particularly in PyTorch and GPU optimization, with practical applications in real-time rendering.   • Develop optimized AI-based rendering software libraries

Requirements For AI Research and Development Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field with 6+ years experience
  • Experience developing AI models for 3D Graphics/Visual Computing
  • Experience building custom AI training datasets and model training
  • Strong knowledge of PyTorch
  • Solid Python programming skills
  • Knowledge of AI algorithms and principles
  • Experience with realtime/physical-based 3D Graphics rendering
  • Experience optimizing Deep Learning inference algorithms for GPU architectures
  • Advanced Python and GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL, DPC++)
